Goldsboro Team

Our agency originated in Goldsboro and our corporate office is still located there. While much of our administrative and policy work is done in Goldsboro, we also make plenty of time to have fun with our clients and their families.

Goldsboro was the start of our therapeutic horseback riding program and today the majority of our clients in Goldsboro continue to enjoy this activity at Stepping Stone Therapeutic Riding Center in Goldsboro. Our clients also enjoy the many other animals living at the farm - goats, dogs, cats, llamas, and a burro.

Our staff are active in volunteering for Special Olympics and we have helped sponsor the local Equestrian Invitational in 2005 and 2006. Many of our clients love to participate and have become very good riders.

We have a corporate membership to the local YMCA so our clients can swim, walk the track, shoot basketballs, and work out with the supervision and assistance of our staff. We also, through a generous donation from the Kinston Indians, have been able to provide free game tickets to our clients and their families.

We are fortunate to have an active local chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina in Goldsboro and we provide free babysitting during the meetings so parents can enjoy themselves without worrying about their children.

Our Goldsboro office also offers a monthly Community Outings Program to enhance the socialization and community opportunities for our clients in Goldsboro and the surrounding area. Upcoming community outings include Chuck E. Cheese, a Horseback Riding Show and Ice Cream Social, Summer Fun at the Pool, bowling, and more.
