Fayetteville Team

In April 2009 the Fayetteville location obtained a membership to the local YMCA.  This has given our recipients full access to the facilities.  They have the opportunity to exercise, swim, play basketball, etc...  This has been beneficial to our service recipients to improve socialization skills, fine & gross motor skills, and overall health & well-being.

In May 2009  we started monthly social groups for all recipients ages 18 & over.  This group discusses various topics.  They also organize & participate in various community involvement activities.

We have recently begun volunteering at the Salvation Army serving dinner to people in need.  This is a huge need in our community and we encourage all those who can to get involved.  This is a special commitment for us as a team because we are giving back to the community and helping those in need.
