Employment Opportunities

Recognizing that a motivated, well-trained team of habilitation technicians is the key to our agency's success, A Small Miracle is committed to offering our employees an excellent benefits plan and some of the highest habilitation technician wages in the state.
Rate of pay is calculated based on each employee's education and experience, and since we have a pay grid that we use to calculate the rate, employees are paid fairly and equitably. If you are interested in finding out what you could make with A Small Miracle, please call us; we will be happy to look it up for you.
Benefits available include medical and dental insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and group life insurance. These benefits are available to employees who have been in full-time status (30 hours or more  per week) with the agency for 90 days. A Small Miracle pays 50% of the cost of medical and dental insurance for the employee, and the employee is eligible to add their spouse and/or children at an additional cost. The employee is responsible for the cost of disability insurance, if desired, and A Small Miracle pays the full cost of group life insurance.

A Small Miracle provides CPR/First Aid training, NC-mandated Core Competencies training and other training such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Verbal Behavior (VB) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) at no cost to our employees. We also have an Employee of the Month program to recognize outstanding performance on the job
