A Small Miracle, Inc. opened our newest office, in  Durham NC, on August 8, 2011! Our Raleigh office has served families living in Durham for years but in response to requests from those families and our  employees, we are now opening an office located there. This will be much more  convenient for family members and employees who wish to drop by to utilize our  lending library, speak with their QP, pick up paperwork, or participate in  activities.

We will continue to provide individualized programs in the  Durham office, using a wide range of methodologies including: Applied Behavior  Analysis (both Lovaas and Verbal Behavior Therapies), TEACCH, Relationship  Development Intervention (RDI), and Picture Exchange Communication System  (PECS). The ASM team combines Specialized Consultative Services, Individual/Caregiver Training and Education, Behavioral Consultation and  "program specific" staff training with one-on-one services to provide a  thorough and effective program for each individual.

The Durham office  is excited to expand on our Community Outing Program (COP). These outings  include bowling, sporting events, therapeutic horseback riding, restaurants,  parks, museums and more.

Michael Joyce, QP will head this office and  will be joined by Ravainell Hunt, QP and Tasha Johnson, Office  Manager.
